We believe that there is one true God, the creator of the universe, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1,14; John 14:26; 1 Peter 1:2)

We believe Jesus was God’s only begotten Son, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, voluntarily died on the cross for our sins, and was bodily raised from the dead. He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father and acts as an intermediary on our behalf. One day Jesus will return to earth and initiate the consummation of human history. Jesus desires that we remember his death through communion, which is observed each Sunday at FCC. (John 1:1-18; Acts 2:22-41; Philippians 2:1-11)

First Christian Church is an independent church that is led by our team, under the oversight of our Elders. FCC is loosely associated with a fellowship of over 5,500 similar evangelical churches nationwide called, Independent Christian Churches, claiming over 1.3 million members in the United States alone. Independent Christian Churches combine their efforts at different times to support church planting organizations, cross-cultural missionaries, benevolent associations and over 30 Christian Colleges and Seminaries.
