Our Team

Mike Simpson serves as the Lead Minister of First Christian Church.  Mike attended both Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary and Johnson Bible College, Mike has dedicated his life to helping people discover and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. His passion for sharing the Good News is evident in his preaching, leadership, and commitment to making disciples. Whether speaking from the pulpit, mentoring church leaders, or connecting with people one-on-one, Mike desires to help others experience the hope, grace, and truth found in Christ.
Outside of ministry, Mike's greatest joy is his family. He and his wife, Sara, are blessed with two sons, Seth and Abel, who keep life full of adventure and laughter. A proud Ohio native, Mike remains a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and THE Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoys the unique balance of ministry and family life and believes that some of life's most meaningful moments happen both in the church and around the dinner table. Through it all, Mike seeks to honor God by faithfully serving his family, his church, and his community.

Tyka and her husband Greg have been involved in FCC’s Worship and Music ministry for the last 20 years. Tyka serves in this position part-time. She is the principal at Lake Fern Montessori School in Titusville. They have four adult children and one grandson.

Sara and her husband Josh have been a part of FCC since 2018 and she has been on staff since January of 2022. She has a Masters of Public Administration with an emphasis in Non-Profit from Auburn University. Sara and Josh have four amazing kids. 

Donna has faithfully attended and been a part of the staff here at First Christian Church for the past few years. She does a great job working with the church finances. 

Daryl married his sweetheart, Barbara, In January of 1969.  They had three children. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, son-in-law and four grandsons in North Carolina. They moved to Titusville on July 1st, 2006. Daryl served as the Associate Minister until he retired in 2020. He then stepped into the church maintenance position at FCC.  Daryl loves his church family and home.
